Hotel Careggi - Florence

Stayed for 5 nights in this absolutely great place, really enjoyed that. The staff were affable, the location was marvellous. Even the Peretola airport was not so far, 10 minutes drive away.

Location just off the center of Florence as well as railway station. Private parking nearby provided.

Overall it was large with the essentials.

the room itself was wonderful with a big bathroom & a balcony and balcony, for example and the breakfast was pretty decent. particularly good location and overall the staff was helpful. careggi - rifredi district was worth exploring.

A beautiful old building. Very comfortable. Free car parking .Just out of the main town which was a bonus. Fully recommend, we had a lovely stay.

The hotel had a magnificent location close to Profumeria Marionnaud. We dined at a really great nearby restaurant with local dishes. The breakfast offered lots of food and was pretty decent and very very good...

the location was good, easy to reach the center by bus and in this way avoid problems with parking in the center. also the staff was really nice, gave us all the info that we needed.

It was pleasant for one / two nights. Personnel ok, accomodation acceptable for short staying ... Parking close to the hotel about 100 m far

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was big and clean. Location was okay, 10 minutes with bus to the center of the city. Oh, and great coffee at breakfast.

Very friendly staff and great pizzeria next door. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are very noisy, I didnt sleep either night as could hear the people in the room above all night (and I mean all night!).

The staff are extremely nice and helpful (best in our 2 months trip). Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable - minimal noise. We stayed 5 nights and went every night to the amazing restaurant next door (best pizza in italy). Easy to find. About 800m's from Firenze Rifredi train station. Good WIFI (3euro for 24hours available in rooms).

Although the location was not quite as central as we origanlly would have liked it was still only 7-10mins by bus (tickets sold by hotel) or 25min walk. Good access to trains for day trips to Lucca and Pisa.

The room was clean and comfy, perfect for a couple of nights. The nearby restaurant had amazing pizza that wasn't touristy at all. Plus, the bus service to the city was super convenient, just a five-minute walk away.

Helpfull, the staff gave us hints, even if it ment some more work for them.

No lifts, but you'll have to carrry your luggage only twice (at arrival and when you're leaving).

We were at home in hotel Careggi. Nice friendly staff that helps you with everything. Good tips what you need to see and how to get there. Good / safe parking service. Fast bus connection to the city center. We enjoyed the breakfast. Super friendly staff that made fresh tea and coffee. You can also go by train to Pisa. That is only a 10 min walk to the train station. After 1 hour by train you are in the center of Pisa.

The air-conditioning made the sound of rain against a window.

Recommend it for discerning travelers

Very nice value with really good staff, especially Abdel at the front desk. The rooms are simple but practical with comfortable beds and A/C that can overpower the 35 degree heat

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.
